ATI 11 doesn't work on my laptop. Paragon express, which is free, works flawlessly.

40 usd down the drain for ATI 11. It makes backups, just doesn't restore them.

Searching, I'm most gratefull for the link, I only hope that when put to use both the PartitionManager and DriveBackup work flawlessly like the formerly paid software.
Like you,I also had some problems when using ATI 11 on a vista notebook,while I had no problems at all using ATI 8 (and 7 before that) for three years previously. That's why I tried Paragon HardDisk Manager 2008 suite, (cost me about €38 ,7 months ago) up to now working ok in my notebook.
I hope these two free softwares retain the good qualities of the paid stuff, but, judging from your experience,it must be so.
As I am going to buy a new pc in days I was prepared to spend any money for what I consider the most important software after the OS,but your link,apparently, saved my wallet.Thanks.
