Installation of the Beta mentioned to remove/whatever AV's, etc., and I took this to mean other than NOD32. Wrong! And after install failure due to cache was in use by another program it would not complete nor could I re-install NOD32 3.0.669.

Finally went into services and disabled eset and eset http. Then could delete cache and uninstall using eset's uninstall. Couldn't delete from Program Files nor Docs & Settings until reboot.

After that lengthy ordeal the install was fine -- surprised that I had to add as it didn't auto locate Thunderbird, Firefox (2 versions), SeaMonkey, Internet Explorer & Outlook.

Recommend that in the future the install popup specifically reads to first uninstall all prior Eset programs which will take care of the slow learners such as yours truly! (Or at least include a read-me which is accessible prior to installation attempt.

Did you try your own advice? Did it work?

As I stated, yes, it worked - disabled services, then could uninstall, and the new installation went fine, except as mentioned in that it didn't auto find all programs.
