Hello,
During the install of NOD32 the user can create a password to protect configuration settings, but what if the user forgets their password?
Why not, at this same configuration page of the installer ask for the user's e-mail address, twice. By doing so this would allow the user to recover their password via their e-mail account. This would of course be totally optional.
If a user decides to do this, then I highly recommend you send out a welcome e-mail as soon as installation is finished so that the user knows that he/she successfully registered their email address for password recovery.
Thanks,
Will
