Hi,

I am trying LnS(206p3_VC2005) for the first time and i found it super!
It is small, light and fast - what i need.

I have found a problem and want to ask for.
If my browser is closed and i click to open a link in Win32pad, LnS asks me to allow or block.
But if my browser is running, not asks for and it allows!
This is not good because there are apps that sending information to there site by loading a link in browser with a special string in the end.
In LnS, Win32pad's options are "Allow to connect=NO" and "Allow to start another application=NO"
How can i fix this?
I want LnS to ask for permission(and create an application's rule) even if a simple link is about to load in running browser by an unknown application.

Thank you
WinXP pro SP3, Avira Antivir Premium 8.2.0.374, Firefox 3.0.4, IE 7

Hi,

Yes, this is a known issue. Look 'n' Stop just detects the parent process that has initially started the connecting process.
When this process is reused (like for your case), then the parent process is unfortunately not the one starting the link.
Another post about that:

Thank you Frederic for your quick reply.

Can we expect a fix to this issue soon? (the other post was posted on March 2006)
For the little time i' m using LnS(about 24 hours) i like it very much.
Though, i need this kind of protection.

Thank you
