Hello,

i want try OSS Selector, but one problem showed up - In Windows (Vista Ultimate 64) i can see in OSS all my CD Drives, but after booting the installed OSS i can't see them anymore. I try to switch off AHCI, going back to standard IDE at the Bios - nothing happens, the CD Drives don't show up. The Board is an Asus P5-B, actual BIOS with 4 CD/DVD Drives, 2 SATA at the ICH8R and 2 on the additional IDE from JMicron. Any Ideas?

Regards,

Thomas

I also have a ASUS P5B board and my DVD drive (IDE on JMicron) has never shown up in the OSS booting menu. It just doesn't support them correctly with that chipset. I don't know if a USB DVD drive will show up.

This means that you'll need to do OS installations by booting directly from the OS CD and not by booting it from OSS.
