I have configured the program just like in v3

Submit without asking
As soon as possible
Default exclusions

EAV v4 beta doesn't submit immediately but only after update ... and despite the exclusions , it asked me to submit a doc file . Additionally I don't remember having a doc file infected since I installed EAV v4 . Actually never had an infected doc on this Windows

Can anybody confirm ? :)

It works fine here. I've renamed a malicious file to doc, scanned it, but no prompt window appeared. Then I changed the extension to another one that is not excluded by default, scanned that file and then I was prompted to submit the file for analysis. Perhaps it was a file with double extensions?

For the testing purpose I'll try again and post back later.

Uninstalled EAV , installed ESS v4 and tried again . Now it works ... :-\ it didn't submit a doc file and submitted an exe sample immediately.
