Is there any chance ESET can write us a small tool which will remove all the bits left over after uninstalling v3? I've noticed a few spare files/folders still remain even after uninstalling, for example in the ProgramData folder or the AppData folder.

Surely these would interfere with us being able to give a good beta test of the new version?

Don't believe there is. You could delete them manually

I hope so.
The Removal Tool can solve a lot of problems including unsuccessful installing and uninstalling.

But not every one knows how to do that.
Especially for beginner.

Removing NDIS drivers is pretty tricky as they are binded tightly to each other. If removed improperly, the network connectivity will cease functioning.
