I just installed the Antivirus 4.0 Beta Version.
When I try to update, I get this error message:
General Compile Error

Can this be fixed?
I've been using NOD for years - no problems updating.
I just removed the Business Edition of NOD Antivirus and updated to the BETA. My Company uses the Business Edition.

using the beta version you can not enter user/name password, use defaults that are in there already.Uninstall and reinstall.do not change the ones assigned there already.

I see...
I just read it in the other beta forum. I reinstalled, and used the default login info and it worked.

Interesting though how some are able to use their license information and some aren't.

You don't need to un/reinstall.

Go to password set-up on update screen:

updv4
upv4test

Should save you some pain.

Uninstall and reboot.
Delete any related Eset folders and registry keys.
Reinstall with default pass .
That did work for me.
