The icon in the email client is annoying. How can I completely remove it?

It really isn't necessary, because one icon is already in the system tray.

Right-click within the bar and untick ESET NOD32 Antivirus. At least MS Outlook and Outlook Express support bar customization.

In Thunderbird: View/Toolbars/ESET Nod32 (tick/untick)
