Hello from the UK.
Since I uninstalled an Acesoft product (Tracks Eraser Pro), I keep getting a "Threat found" message from ESET NOD32:
"Object:
C:\Program Files\Acesoft\Tracks Eraser Pro\unins000.exe
Threat:
probably a variant of Win32/TrojanDownloader.Agent trojan
Comment:
Error while cleaning (Access denied).
Please submit this object to ESET for analysis."
The threat warning offers 3 options - CLEAN / DELETE / NO ACTION - but as access is denied, only NO ACTION is possible. This results in the "Threat found" message recurring every time I run NOD32. Plus, I cannot submit the object to ESET for analysis.
Can you assist here?
Thanks in advance.
Terry.
