the program stopped loading at startup.
when i try to start it in programs start i get.
c: program files\eset\eset nod32 antivirus\egui.exe is not valid win32 application".
computer wont start in safe mode. i get blue screen.
some other programs do the same thing.
any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like a lot of executables got corrupt for some reason. I'd suggest checking the disk for errors, it's likely you'll need to resort to reinstalling the OS if not formatting or replacing the disk completely.

tried to uninstall and then reinstall but it would not work.
does that make any sense?
