View Full Version : Picasa2 - Send As HTML Storybook

Dear Forum Members,

I have been a long time fan of NOD32 and have recently upgraded to version 3.

I am running Vista (please don't hate me) and one of my favourite applications is Picasa2 from Google.

Prior to upgrading to version 3, I could select one or more photos and click the e-mail button; with the Send As HTML Storybook mode enabled, Outlook would open with a nicely formatted HTML e-mail with embedded pictures.

Since the upgrade to version 3 this has stopped working. When it stops working I get a plain text e-mail with a small email.htm attachment with broken links. I have verified this by temporarily disabling the whole NOD32 application and disabling the specific e-mail protection component.

In both instances HTML storybook started to work once more.

I've fiddled with a few settings but with no joy. Any help would be appreciated!

Many thanks,

Jason

OK guys,

Well as soon as I posted this I had a brainwave and have managed to find the setting to fix this issue.

In the advanced setup tree under e-mail protection I changed the 'Append tag messages to received and read email' from 'To all scanned mail' to 'To infected email only'.

What do you know, this has done the trick. I've confirmed it by setting it back to the default and back again and this is definitely the setting du jour for Picasa users.

Thanks for listening,

Jason
