I have a network problem with an XP PC and a Vista laptop. I can ping my laptop from my pc. I can ping my router from my pc. I can ping my router from my laptop. I can ping my laptop from my laptop but I cannot ping my pc from my laptop. I have tried everything I can think of. I have disabled my online armor free firewall on my pc and laptop with no results.

Is the Windows firewall running in your PC? Check to see if its running and disable it.

Hi bamaman66 :) , this is your 3rd thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=184054&highlight=home+network) named home network (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=215583&highlight=home+network) with I think similar problems (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=196369&highlight=home+network) :( (?)
I think it is Pete that uses network magic or manage, which is a good endorsement. Try something like that, it may help you iron out network problems. Best of luck.
