While we wait for Mike and Co to sort it out the forums, which may be soon we hope, lets get back to work.
In the mean time, those that were in the classes at TC,
1) keep looking at logs,
2) Take one, into a notepad file with a link from the thread/topic that it was in.
3) Workout what you would do, put on the bottom of the log
4) either
i) mark yourself from what the expert gave as an answer
ii) email to me and I will return an email with any corrections
My email is available from the link on this message

Any other help I can give, I'm at your disposal. $$ are at a minimum today but whatever you need from me feel free to ask.
Thanks in advance for anything else I get from this experience.

All those that wish to join boot camp you need to do the following
Go to
http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/forums/index.php register with the name of your choice.
then go to this thread http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32637 and ask to be enroled.
Please post back here after you have joined, so we at Wilders know how many are going.
Remember.
The pay is peanuts, the hours are long, the food is bad, but your w.w.w needs you. So line up.

It could be because the site appears to be down again. Wait and see I guess.

Yes down again, >:(
Read the first post in theis thread, we can't wait for the DDOS to stop, we need to get more Malware Fighters trained.
So - do a Log, use the email button below and send me that for marking.
Other TA's hopefully will join me in this training until things return to normal.
BTW cnm is aware of my posts and is supportive of what I am trying to do.
So Classroom attention, get about your training course.

I have several of my own, I'd rather mess mine, than someone elses. Or give me ideas on how to track them.

Your own log is the best place to start. When you can explain what every single entry in your own log does and where it came from, you are ready to move on to other peoples logs.

SWI is up for me at this time, IF it goes back down, revert to the email training.
Thanks Pieter_Arntz
Yes start with your own log, good reasons to do so.
1) You should know what is on your own machine.
2) If you have to visit a bad site to check it out, You will know what was added, wont you.
3) Others can give advice to add to your defences.
Do this now at SWI BootCamp.
And as said - IF it goes down, we have to get on with it, Email training will continue.

Excellent advice, Pieter :) And first when one recovers from killing features of his/hers computer or god forbid the whole system, then he/she can carefully and humbly move to other computers.
I'm so glad that SWI is back at least for the lucky ones - I am not seeing it.
:'( I want my SWI!

I've received some Topic Reply Notifications - just so I know that it's back, and I can't get in... I receive 'Connection Refused' which probably means that I'm blocked?

thats ok - under my duck icon you should see an email icon - tick that and a form should come up - use that to email me in the first instance.
Use your own machine first - hijckthis log. Then tell me about what you have and what they are.
If you already done that before, pick an unanswered log, here at wilders or http://boards.cexx.org/index.php or http://forums.net-integration.net/
Work out what the clients problems are, and what you would tell them.
Email that to me, using the email link as above.
Or await an experts reply to that thread/topic. You can set notifications against the thread/topic so that you will receive an email when the expert/client reply each time. Then mark yourself.
I will reply - direct to you from then onwards.
