Snapdeploy and Dell Optiplex PCs

If I use snap deploy, do I need to reset the XP key as well? does windows become in-active and needs to be activated again even if its a pre activated OEM version like the ones that comes with Dell Optiplex or any OEM PC for that matter>?

Please don't tell me to call microsoft, they're idiots!

I'm SURE someone here is using this on an enterprise level using Dell or other PCs and can answer me.
