NOD32 v3 and WAMP MySQL Conflict? Can't Connect to MySQL

Hi all,

Just changed my antivirus to NOD. I also recently reinstalled my OS in the process. I have installed WAMP in order to install a local copy of Joomla 1.5 but it seems I can't connect to MySQL locally (services is running). After some reading it seems to be a problem with NOD32. Anyone have any insight on this?

Hi fcastro,

You issue may be similar - I would suggest reading through this thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=223140) but on NOD32 v2.x you would almost certainly need to have IMON disabled with the icon grey (and not red) after a reboot.
