View Full Version : One-Click Protection

I am trying to do a backup of the system partition using the one-click protection but keep getting an error stating:
"The destination you have chosen does not have enough space for a system backup archive. The default location will be used."
The system partition C: drive is a 145GB partition with 55GB of used space. The external USB drive is a empty 300GB drive. Why am I getting this error?

According to Acronis User Guide, what you're describing is not supposed to happen. If you haven't already, contact TechSupport and create a ticket to ensure that Aronis knows about this. Meanwhile, someone here might be able to give you a work around better than mine, which is to create task to make a full backup of your desired source to your desired target -- it's not one click and not what you paid for but will probably work until Acronis can fix.

Could you please collect some information to let us investigate the problem?
Please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post (http://wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317).
Please also collect the application log of the operation:
- run the program;
- select Show log on the toolbar or from the Tools menu;
- select the corresponding log;
- click "Save the log entry to file" (the diskette icon).
Then submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/support/). Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. To expedite the resolution I would recommend you to use our Live Chat service (http://www.acronis.com/company/contacts/request/?t=2) after that. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.
