View Full Version : Only one "user" at this location but several machines.

I have two PCs, another about to be assembled, and yet another on the way.

Email, financial, general PC
AV Studio PC
Security DVR PC (security web server)
Media center PC

There is only one user here, only one person ever using these machines. It looks as though ESET will cost me over 2x to protect up to four machines, is that correct? I hate paying for multiple users when there is really only one user. :P

Thanks,
Izzy

You are not paying per USER but per PC. Do you think ESET charge me for 4 copies of NOD32 when there are 4 people (users) in my family, but only 1 PC?

My intention is to buy ESET Smart Security for two machines, a desktop PC and a laptop PC, will I get two product keys (each for one machine) and are the keys related to hardware (i.e. if I upgrade a hardware will I need a new key)? Thanks.

If you buy a "two pack" you will get one license number that is good for two PCs. If you change PCs during the year, you can uninstall off an old PC, then reinstall onto a new PC for the balance of the year.
BTW, a "two pack" is much cheaper than two individual licences.
