I want to install a firewall and not use the Vista Firewall anymore.

Which one works best on Vista? Online Armor Personal Firewall or COMODO?

You really can't go wrong with either. Both are very good and work well with Vista. I have used both and feel safe with both. I am currently using OA Free v3 because I find it simple to use. CPF v3 has a little learning curve and is probably more configurable. Try them both and see which one you like.

Both work great on Vista. Question is which one works best for you and the way you use your system. Comodo is free, and Online Armor has both a free version and a free trial of the paid version ($15 off until the end of the month). I have two Vista computers, use Comodo on one, OA full on the other, am a moderator for Comodo and a beta tester for OA. Also run OA free on an old XP backup computer. Give them a try and see which one feels best for you-they both offer excellent protection.

Comodo gets my vote on Vista.

You should try

- Online Armor free with Norton UAC tool free versus Comodo

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no objective or common thruth in security, so I am afraid you have to find out yourself (also a form of seeking) as SDED suggested earlier.

cheers ;)
