I have a HP Laptop that gives me a menu when I turn it on that offers to press F-11 to enter rescue mode, which will restore and install Windows Vista from a hidden partition.
But I want to try TrueCrypt disk encryption which will replace my MBR and FAT with its own menu, and removing my option to restore and install Vista from the hidden partition.
Is there a program that will enable me to back up everything from the MBR and FAT, and then restore the MBR and FAT and get back my option to press F-11?
