For me the best thing about UD2008 is not the way it defrags files - they all do mcuh the same - but the way it allows you to archive files not used or rarely used. With a data drive it is simply a matter of placing data used within say the last 6 months as performance data and data not used in the last 6 months goes to the archive.
With C: OS and Programs though there are file types that should perhaps be archived. So Far I have only used wildcards for *.zip and *.cab I may be wrong but I can't see *.Cab being used all that often. Are there other files types for C: that others archive and why ?

Its interesting to know what jkdefrag archives:
Files bigger than 50 megabytes
Files not accessed in the last month (see next question)

Now you can pick what you want and think is good to archive.

I wouldn't archive anything that gets modified/deleted frequently like *.log files or restore points in System Volume Information.
