View Full Version : Installing ESS v3 causes reboots

Installed a trial of ESS v3 onto my desktop. Now, when I go to login, sometimes I can login, but then the PC just reboots. It's in a loop. Looks like a driver issue perhaps.

Once I remove ESS the problem stops.

Which version installed? Any error occurs you?

Hello, did you use other security software? Which OS are you using?

Good questions:


Windows XP Pro
I trialed NOD32 just before
otherwise cleaned very carefully of prevous NAV
only error I could not see was a BSOD which seemed to occur occasionally when trying to login. Very quickly a BSOD would show up and reboot but too fast to try to read.


Oh yes, as stated version 3. I think it was 3.0.669 or something.
