Which software firewalls offer Syslog / Email Logging Capability?
I know Sunbelt offers Syslog capability but it is too slow esp with PerfTCP/UDP results of 26 and 68 respectively.
Any other firewalls offering syslog and/or email output?

IPtables (http://www.netfilter.org/projects/iptables/index.html)(linux) can be configured for syslog. But caution IPtables works only with Linux Kernel 2.4.x onwards.
I think CA HIPS (http://www.ca.com/us/products/product.aspx?ID=5785)( Formerly Tiny Firewall ) also has this functionality. But I am not sure on this one.

Hello,
iptables have been out for quite a long time; most distros today run on 2.6 kernel, so no worries there. The OP could tell what OS he meant, I guess it was Windows ...

8Signs can schedule automatic emailing of the log file to any email address that you specify. And rules can also be configured to trigger an email to be sent to any specified email address if the rule is 'hit'.

Thanks everyone who replied,
Yeah I am using Windows (have tried linux now and again...)
I am running a syslog server that emails me alerts from my router. Obviously a software firewall that supports syslog would be nice (on an unmanaged, remote server box)
I am disappointed with the poor level of log output capability in current software firewalls. Few firewalls even support email logging, let alone syslog!
