My Nod32 AV updated the definitions for 10/2/2008 3491 and then I got an Orange Eye. Am I stilled protected or not? Its says I need to Renew in 14 Days.
I know I am probably protected, but just wanted to make sure.

You are still protected but your licence will run out soon. After that you are still protected but you can't update for protection against new threats until you get a new license.

So I am protected and I can still get updates up to 10/17/2008 correct?

Yes

Yes
As long as you have a valid license you can receive updates. Once the license expires you can no longer receive updates.
Once the license expires the software continues to work but will not be able to recognise and remove new threats as it won't have the updates to know about them.
The orange colour is just to warn you the license is running out.

Hi
Any way to disable the reminder?
I am going to renew the lic. soon, just don't need the reminder.
Thanks!

Hello,
Currently, it cannot be disabled, however, in a future release of the software the behavior will change.

Hi, agoretsky
Does it mean a newer version is coming up soon? When?
Now it is version 672.
Thanks.

Hello,
I can not say when the release will occur. Updates require testing, and the amount of that varies quite a bit depending on the types of changes to the software.
