I'm looking for a program to lock folders. I know XP you can lock folders so others on other accounts can't see them but how about a program to lock folders so people that use my account can't open them unless they have a password. I don't want a computer locker. Thank you.

Please, extend those capabilities to Windows 98 as well.
Thanks.

Thanks Snowbound. I tried Folder Access and didn't really like it at all.

LOL I did all the work for nothing. :( I read at their web page that it locks folders in the free version but that's not true at all. It only locks files in the freeware version. That right there turned me off on the program becuase it stretched the truth a little. When I uninstalled it with total uninstall it left it's name in start/ all programs. I'll keep searching in the mean time. Thanks again Snowbound.

Hopefully someone will post who has tried some of these folder lock apps. There sure is a lot of them! :D
Good luck :)
