When I run ClamWin Anti Virus (http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/clamwin_portable) with updated definitions, it says this:

WARNING: Infected Files: 1
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam-dor.exe: Joke.FakeInfect FOUND

Anyone have any ideas what this means?

I also ran Kasperky AV and it didn't report anything.

So which AV do I believe?

There's no virus or "joke" in MBAM. Submit this as a false positivite to the vendor. The definition was added 3 days ago (http://lurker.clamav.net/message/20080929.002217.beaa8e97.en.html).

So what does all that mean? Why does ClamWin claim it found something nasty if it's nothing to worry about? Why did someone add that the definition?

It means that the definition is broken, that's all. As for why would someone add such definition - it's probably because people make mistakes all the time.

Submit form (http://www.clamav.net/sendvirus) (Be sure to select The file attached is… a false positive.)
