I bought a NOD32 antivirus subscription for my desktop a few months ago, and I now have a new laptop that I would like to protect with the same program. I would like to install the thing before I get on the net with the new laptop. Is there any way to do this via download? I'm sure it could be done if I were to buy the disc, but I want to load it soon. Could I make the purchase for the download on my desktop, write the installation to cd, and then install to my laptop?

I have my firewall setup on the laptop but obviously no virus protection yet. Would I be safe if I were to, instead of doing the above, just bring up the browser (FF) on the laptop, and then just go straight to the NOD32 download page and download/install it that way, instead of trying to transfer anything? It would be easier, but I'm not sure how safe I would be from infiltration.

Yes, you can dl the program and burn it to a cd and install from there. And yes, if you're behind a router you would be safe to go to eset.com and purchase Nod32.

OK, using my desktop, I just went to the site and purchased another 2 year subscription $90. I got the installer icon on my desktop, put a cd in, and near the end of the burning process, it stopped. I put a larger DVD in, thinking the installer may have been to large. Now it won't copy to CD/DVD at all. A box pops up stating "Problem Copying--- Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file. What do you want to do?" It gives 2 options, Retry or Cancel. Retry fails, just flips right back to the Problem Copying box... over and over. Nothing works that I've tried.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I may get this thing copied?

When I hit Cancel, the copy progress box and the "Problem Copying" box disappear. I then go back to the installer icon, rt click, Send To, CD drive, then the process starts over.
