I use nod32 v3.0
In version v2.7 there was a posibility to include an appropriate plugin and
virus signature DB in BartPE or UBCD to get a "Rescue CD".
In v3.0 you dont have this feature.
I can use the v2.7 signatures, but I can't get them from V3.0
Is there a way to bypass this problem ? i.e: get V2.7 signatures without installing v2.7 ?
Thanks in advance.

Hello efi38,
No, you must install v2.7.
Thank you,
Richard

Thanks Richard.
As you know one can't have two versions installed simultaneously.
I expect ESET to solve the problem:
The best solution is to create a plugin for BaerPE & UBCD, (as they have
in V2.7 !!!) for NODE32 V3.0
It is a short job and as customers WE DESERVE IT.

Hello,
Have you tried copying the ECLS.EXE and the EM*.DAT files from an updated installation of the software to the "rescue disc" in order to run the command-line scanner from it?

 Excuse me, I think efi38 made his point quite clearly - his quote is reproduced as follows:-

Hello,
NOD32 v2.7 can be run via BartPE or UBCD live Windows CDs by following the instructions in ESET Knowledgebase Article #557, "Integrating the ESET On-Demand Scanner (v2.7) with UBCD and BartPE (http://training.eset.com/kb/index.php?option=com_kb&Itemid=29&page=articles&articleid=557)"
ESET's Command Line Scanner (filename: ECLS.EXE (http://training.eset.com/kb/index.php?option=com_kb&Itemid=29&page=articles&articleid=565)), included with ESET NOD32 Antivirus v3.0 and ESET Smart Security, can be run from a bootable disc by copying the ECLS.EXE and the EM*.DAT files from an installed copy of the software to the disc during its creation.
Additional support for bootable media is planned for the future.

Hello Aryeh.
You probably mean that those files included in a DOS bootable CD will do the job.
I Tried it with BartPE and it does not work.
By the way: The plugin of NOD32 V2.7 for BartPE includes also files of the types:
*.dll *.inf *.xml *.htm
Thank you any way.
