View Full Version : IPv6 extension header

I am trying to build a packet with extension headers. With the packet builder it is not possible to assemble such a packet.

As a solution I changed the packet with a hex-editor and added two extension headers.

Now I am trying to play the packet with packetplayer, but the player does not send anything. With one extension header it works, when I add more extension headers it doesn't work anymore.

Also packet builder does not recognise the extension header.

Is there a solution for this problem, or am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately the free tools do not support advanced feature like IPv6.
Commercial product of Colasoft like Capsa works well with IPv6. However the decode has not been immigrate to free tools like packet player.
We'll release an advance version of these toolkids latter.
