Wanted to resize my son's 250 MB HDD into 2 partions so I selected Resize/Move (Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.5) to do that. Now that the operation is complete, Paragon only shows ONE (1) 250 MB FREE partition. ???

Please don't tell me that all of his data is destroyed as he needs it for school tomorrow!!!

Please help -- URGENT !!!

PS. I just tried the Undelete Partition function, but it said 'it couldn't find any deleted partions' ...Waiting for help!

see if the free "photorec" can find any data on the hard drive. That's what I would try first.

Two things, and they might not help fix it, but 1) Image or backup first. This is vital. 2) Never do anything like this before a critical point.

No operation of this type is fool proof.

Peter, I realize I blew it - but I thought doing that with Paragon is a piece of cake...

Thanks, I'll check it out once I find the d/l link ...but can it boot-up the system? - as I now don't have an active partition!

jonyjoe81, Test Disk did the trick in repairing the resized partition!

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. :thumb:
