Free Utility to Wipe Windows Free Space

Hi Guys!

I'm looking for a safe, reliable, free utility to download that will wipe the free space on a Windows XP Pro System, so that all the remnants of old files are gone forever. I don't want to format a disk or partition--just make sure that the free space doesn't contains old file remnants. Any ideas?

It also works for XP and Vista although not mentioned.
