new updates are not detecting this problem.
need help !!!!!!!!!!

some are calling it the Facebook virus, others Trojan.win32.buzus.pov.

It is infecting my computers my inserting a usb memory stick.

Spybot caught it trying to update the registry and inserting the hypinit32.exe

It aslo created two directories c:\windows\system32\spfx, and c:\windows\system32\nscan both were set to hidden attributes.

registry keys were generated with hypinit32.exe as well.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

How do I clear the usb thumb drives of this virus?

Hello,

Please download ESET SysInspector (http://www.eset.com/download/sysinspector.php), use it to create a log file and send that along with the hypinit32.exe file and the contents of the two directories to ESET's virus lab in a .ZIP or .RAR archive file protected with a password of "infected" to samples@eset.sk (samples@eset.sk) with a link to this message thread. The virus lab will then examine them.
