What is the peformance of Panda 7 and it's firewall

How is the Panda 7 firewall as compared to Sygate PRO? Does Panda 7 AV and firewall cripples the ssytem?

The firewall in panda7 is a sygatefirewall I don't know what version. The antivirus and firewall seem to run pretty lightly considering it is not a small program. I am very satisfied with the program so far and plan on keeping it in my comp for at least a year till the updates are up and then I will figure what to do then. It depends on the financial investment to renew at that time. ;) you can check it's performance at the link. Just the av v6 v7 does a bit better but it will give you an idea what it can do.

How long is the free version of 7? A year? ?

The license is a one year license from date of installation. There is a very short form to fill out, the username and password is mailed to you and you install them in the software to activate the update feature.
