Firefox 3.0.1 send link

I have downloaded firefox 3.0.1 and I am trying to send a page by email. When I click on send link I do not connect to my default email. I am using vista operating system.

Have your mail program re-register itself as your preferred client.
(Have it see if its the default client.)

I found a solution posted somewhere on the internet that solved my problem.

Go to about:config
Go to network protocol-handler.external.mailto and change false to true

In my situation this solved my problem.
