Not sure if anyone can assist but are there problems with the update servers for ESS/NOD?

When I click on update, it sits and seems to cycle through all of the servers (watched the network connections) but it fails with a message "an error occurred while downloading updates".

I have ESET installed on a second machine and it gets the same failure.

Internet access, however, to everything else seems to be OK.

Thanks for any info

Short answer is yes and you can read about it here http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=216106
many have had success by clearing the cache and tap dancing "manual update"/ "ok" button until it works
Good luck

There are no problems with the servers. If the updater cycles through all and ends up with an error connecting to servers, there must be either no connectivity, a firewall blocking ekrn.exe or an incorrectly set up proxy server in the update setup.

Not sure what the problem was that day but all my other internet connections worked fine. I just had trouble updating ESS for about two hours. After that time ESS updated fine.
