Hi all

I have been NOD user for years, but it is quite enough, 2 weeks with no automatic update is a kill and ESET's denial and careless replies by Marcos are just a way to burn customer's nerves >:(

I am searching for a replace I need ur recommendation for a light AV which scan hhtp without using a proxy.

Thanks in advance

On my machine Avast does not appear to have a proxy set up to scan http & its about as light as you can get.

unfair comment about Marcos, he is a credit to ESET - always on hand to help and often online out of office hours.

Thankful

I agree.
I understand computer problems can be very frustrating. We all have experienced them. Marcos offered you personal help via PM. I would take advantage of that.

I would suggest that anyone looking for an antivirus program look through the forums for the many threads that already exist.

Furthermore,-{ Quote: "Members should not start topics in this section asking "Which is the better or faster or lighter or whatever?" or make comparison threads setting one Antivirus product against another (i.e. this vrs. that)." }-http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=180128
