View Full Version : Live Boot A/V?

I've been looking for a live boot antivirus CD for an enterprise solution.

The main two that I have found so far are AVG Rescue CD and avast! BART CD. While both seem like solid products, neither really have any white papers on their products (that I know of).

I've also looked into Trinity Rescue Kit but I'm worried about it's legality as an enterprise solution since it downloads the free version of antivirus software. I've also looked as BART PE plug-ins with little luck.

All the major companies do not seem to have such software.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Kaspersky Rescue Disk 2008 (http://dnl-eu10.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/RescueDisk/)

F-Secure Rescue CD 3.00 (http://www.f-secure.com/weblog/archives/00001474.html)

Avira AntiVir Rescue System (http://www.free-av.com/en/tools/12/avira_antivir_rescue_system.html)

BitDefender 2008 Rescue CD (http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=2123) (incl. live AV definition updates!)

(P.S. If something is for free download, it's not illegal) ::)

Just becuase it's free for personal use, doen't mean it's free for business use ;)

EDIT: Thanks for the links. I've got to call up Kaspersky now about licensing...
