I need help in solving how to remove the Worm.Win32.AutoRun.dve..it invaded my external hard drive and the drives when being browsed appear as folders..how bad is that ?

Also, it seems to be an AVP engine detection. What version of Kaspersky/F-Secure/G-Data or other AVP-engine using software are you using?

Trend Micro House call or Bit deffender on-line scanner might help

Consider upgrading to the latest version.(8.0 I think)
Meanwhile run scans with AVP Tool, CureIT, if they can't fix the problems try using the online scanners that gery suggested.

You can also try Flash Disinfector: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Flash_Disinfector.exe
Save it on your desktop and double click on it to run it. Follow the prompts reboot your pc afterwards. This tool can remove malicious autorun.inf files.
