Got the new Maxtor DiamondMax Plus HD put in this morning.
Went a whole lot better than I thought it would (amazingly so, in fact, given my penchant for creating disasters where none had ever existed before).
Let's see:
160GB
Buffer Size: 8MB
Average Seek Time <9.3 ms
External Transfer Rate: Up to 133M/Bytes / sec
(Ultra ATA/133)
Rotational Speed: 7200 RPM
That oughta hold me for awhile.
Adding programs back in in a very un-hurried fashion here. No glitches so far. Pete

;D ;D it will hold you for a while I sure..but the thing is SOOOO big you will not be able to find even all the program layers you run :)
Fill it up fast pete..I hear the price of gas is going up again.
