View Full Version : problems when updating archives

Hi,

I created an archive of my primary snapshot earlier today and wanted to update it (to external hd) but I am out of luck. When I click update archive nothing happens.Nothing showing in the progress bar. Only the tray icon shows fdisr is working even if it is stuck. After 40 mins or so "Starting Microsoft Volume Shadow copy of Service (VSS) for drive c:" appears. But no progress at all.

I have been waiting for over 1 hour now.No joy.

Any help appreciated.

Edit: I clicked "stop" and it nothing happened. I had to kill the copy engine using process explorer to stop whatever it was that fdisr was doing.

Hi,

I just realized that the problem I'm having is exactly the one Bio-Hazard experiences/describes in his "Slight hiccup with Copy/update" thread. I tried to delete this thread but I don't know how to do it.

Mods please delete this thread.
