KAV Hacked?

I noticed in an earlier thread that KAV has been compromised. Kaspersky deny this themselves.

Is there any evidence that the rumour is true or is it just that, a rumour and nothing more?

Even if malware writers design a threat to get round current definitions the antivirus vendors(KAV included)bring out new defs to counteract these new threats its more or less always been like that
