I Installed NOD32 Business Ed. at a clients premises last Friday. I was there again today and 3 users complained that after I installed NOD32 MS Word Hangs. After opening word I type a line of text, press enter to go to the next line and then it hangs/freezes, you have to wait for around a minute then it seems to be fine, and you can type several lines of text before it starts again.
I called the local Eset support and was told to download and Install the latest version as I had a slightly old version, I think I downloaded ver 3.0.669 (available on eset.com download page) and updated the definitions today. I then restarted the PC but the Poblem persisted. So I called the Support guy again and was told that I should scan for malware, I did that and picked up a few things which I removed from the system, reboted again but the problem id still there, I left the client and told them I'l find out an get back to them.
When I disabled the Anti-Virus everything seemed to work fine, but I had to re-enable it till I find a solution. Also Uninstalling & Reinstalling MS Office didn't help.
Has anyone else experienced this problem with Word freezing?
