hi all

curentley im using firebird and love it way better than ie so much so that i wnat to get rid of ie off my system so that i can stop worrying about ie's lack of security but the only thing thats stoped my so far is the ability to access windows update sight now im wondering if anyone knows of a way to access windows update sight with out ie

mabe a browser that can access windows update sight but dont suffer from ie's lack of security or perhaps a plugin for firebird that will let me access windows update sight

when you go to the link root supplied, in the search box in the right top of the page. type windows patches in the search box, and it will take you to a page where you can download all of the windows patches found on windows update.

thansk for the sergestion its somthing to keep in mind though thats not really what im after

If you are after another browser that will scan for updates like IE does, I think you are out of luck.
I have not seen a plug-in for Firebird/Firefox that could help you
