Hello all, this is my first post here so please pardon me if this is a question asked many times before.
Here's my problem, my USB drive got infected with a virus which turned all folders hidden, and replace them with look-alike .exe files which actually are the virus itself. This virus is not uncommon in my area, I already rid my USB off of it. But the folders remain hidden, and somehow they are recognized as 'System folders', they're only visible when I uncheck the box "Hide protected operating system files" in Folder Options. It's a bit of a nuisance having to do that to every computers I plug this USB into.
So basically I'm asking if there is anybody here knows how to permanently 'unhide' these folders? (The 'Hidden' attribute in the Properties dialog of the folder is grayed out, thus it is not possible to reset it)
