Hi,

System: NOD32 AV 3.0, Outlook 2007

What is the difference between "Integrate with Microsoft Outlook" check-box checked and unchecked state?

Is virus/spam/spyware risk increased if i leave that check-box unchecked or it only enables NOD32 setup from Outlook toolbar?

Thank you!

Hi-yes, unchecking that box only controls the availability of the toolbar within outlook, it has no impact on scanning.

When enabled, a plugin for that email client will be loaded upon email client startup. The plugin enables spam checking (applicable for ESS) as well as scanning of email regardless of the protocol used. When disabled, email received via POP3 will be scanned for threats (not spam) anyway by the POP3 scanner.

Integration must be enabled in order to be checked.
