I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 and I've been having problems shutting down Windows. As a result, I checked the Event viewer and along the way, I saw entries relating to the ESET Servive (ekrn.exe). It makes sense though because the NOD32 splash screen stays on my screen for ages, much longer than when it ran on XP Pro SP2.
