ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 's real time protections constantily monitor all file activities on your disk and will automatically take action against anything they find dangerous/malicious . In case you try to run/open anything you have saved and downloaded with FlashGet , ESS/EAV will warn you with a message .

It is generally not necessary to use that function . Using it will only double/triple scan a file

If you insist on using it , you should point to ESET command line scanner (ecls.exe) and use the following commands

"C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\ecls.exe" or "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\ecls.exe"

Commands/options:
/adv-heur /adware /arch /auto /boots /files /mail /no-log-all /pattern /quarantine /rtp /sfx /subdir /unsafe /unwanted

Something like this "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\ecls.exe" /adv-heur /adware /arch /auto /boots /files /mail /no-log-all /pattern /quarantine /rtp /sfx /subdir /unsafe /unwanted

Well , I am not sure exactly why it is not working as it should . Perhaps someone else who actually uses FlashGet could help.

{QUOTE-> p.s i download many files and i feel safe only when every 1 of them passing anti-virus scan. <-QUOTE}

I did mention that EAV has real-time automatic protection which constantly monitors each and every activity . If this protection is active , there is no way for a malicious download to run except from the fact where NOD32 doesn't detect a certain file at all . You can test yourself with Eicar test file from here:
