I installed NOD 32 several months ago and have had no problems with it. However, recently, the program has been asking me to enter a username and password in order to download updates. I have never changed the username and password in the program and it always downloaded updates without trouble before, however, when I try to update now, it says that the saved username and password are incorrect. I tried using the forgotten password option on the ESET website, but I never received an email from them (I first tried a couple weeks ago).

Did you follow through with Blackspear here? (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=977532&postcount=4)

That was from over a year ago and was probably an unrelated problem. I'm not sure if I followed up or not. I'm just looking to have my username and password emailed to me, but the lost license request page doesn't seem to work for me.

I'm not sure what is happening to your password. It seems to be a continuing problem.
I would await an ESET moderators response to this problem.

Please PM me your username so that I can check the expiry date.
