hi all

i was just notice this great look like program .

http://www.genie-soft.com/products/gbmpro/default.html

as far as i test it , its look very similar to FDISR...

what i mean its doesnt (seems like) back up (full back up) sectore by sectore but over on all the files and add them to 1 big ISO file

also when u do a incremental backup its added new files or del .
thats what i saw / test till now...

can u folks tell your impression from it if any at all :argh:

Can't say anything as I've never used it, but I didn't see anything that suggests it's remotely like FDISR.

Hi

I've heard that it's one of the best file backup programs, but for me it's just overkill.

Its first place on top ten reviews if that means anything. ~Link removed. Site not recommended. - Ron~

It also got a very good review/rating by pcmag http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2276198,00.asp

A few years ago i bought Genie based on reviews at the time but it did'nt worked out as expected, wat it was exactly, something to do with failing incrementals and stuff. To be completely functional you have to buy seperate modules at the time but that maybe changed i don't know. To make a long story short, thereafter i found the free app. Karin's Replicator and never looked back.
