Skip the commercial "ads" in this article, and focus on the marketing and revenues issues. Seems ZoneLabs is doing ehh.."not that bad at all":

Hmph. I'll graduate in December with my law Enforcement major and Business Management minor and I still wouldn't have imagined. Seriously, your class had to have been better than mine :-[
I still can't really see where all that cash is coming from.

ZA is a good product, if you forget the many bugs.
Every few weeks a new beta-version, with what purposes?
They can better first make the existing non-beta versions bugfree, in conjunction with Windows XP the product is not working very well! >:(
